About You

As a crucial member of the team, the Sr. Events Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan for SCA experience driven activities, specifically related to events. Supports Director of Marketing in the development of new brand identities and ensures the proper application of existing SCA identities. The Sr. Events Marketing Manager will play a leadership role in developing various marketing campaigns and strategies that maximize engagement of the specialty coffee community and our partners at SCA events. The Sr. Events Marketing Manager will assist in meeting or exceeding SCA Store sales targets through the execution of various e-commerce marketing initiatives.  Works collaboratively with the Communications team to execute promotional efforts to plan and supervises a high performing marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall marketing campaign development and execution for all SCA events and e-commerce.

  • Meet established revenue objectives through various marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and deploy all campaign elements including but not limited to direct mail campaigns, email marketing pieces, website updates, advertising, brand elements and sponsorship related deliverables.

  • Manage the development and execution of mobile apps & related technology-driven components. 

  • Analyze campaign success and recommend new strategies to improve upon future marketing planning to meet the Association’s needs.



  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Organized, self-directed, self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple marketing campaigns in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.

  • Must be a team player and work well in a collaborative environment.

  • 5+ years in a marketing capacity, managing various departmental campaigns, including events and/or e-commerce.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent job experience.

  • Experience in the coffee or beverage industries a plus.

  • Proficiency using MS Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite design software.
