About You

As a crucial member of the team, the Guilds Director is responsible for the community leadership coordination, engagement, and interactions with guild representatives and community leaders.  The role provides essential support to these volunteer groups and their leadership structures and well as overseeing guild projects, budgets, and liaising with the relevant SCA departments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops strategic and tactical plans for the development and operation of each Guild, in collaboration with the guild leadership and SCA strategic themes/objectives.

  • Schedules and attends leadership meetings with the different Guilds. EC/WG and committees.

  • Assists the Guild leadership and SCA membership team to identify areas of value to stakeholders

  • Develop or support projects that utilizes the guild community and building networks in multiple geographies

  • Liaises with the different SCA departments to ensure representation of value to the guild community

  • Collaboration and support with the Membership, Marketing, Communication, Events, and Education teams on community engagement, both online and in-person events, and throughout projects or activities.

  • Answer day-to-day emails and information requests about Guild membership, partnership, events and all other aspects related to the Guilds.

  • Manages staff or teams that serve the guild community

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English with proficiency in other languages a plus.

  • Organized, self-directed, self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple marketing campaigns in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.

  • Must be a team player and work well in a collaborative environment.

  • Outstanding customer service standards, diplomacy and respect to diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficient MS office suite, cloud systems and project management tools.

  • 5+ year of relevant experience preferred, bachelor’s degree or similar preferred.

  • Experience in the coffee or beverage industries a plus.
