ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF NATIONAL COMMITTEES
The following document outlines the basic responsibilities of the various members of your National Committee. These are in no way exclusive but do offer a platform for the volunteer leadership roles required to run a successful SCA Chapter.

The guidelines, rules and regulations contained within this document are only applicable to volunteer-led national chapters. For information on staff-led national chapters, please consult the document “SCA Staff-led National Chapter Rules & Regulations.”

ANNUAL CHAPTER REBATE APPLICATION
SCA Chapters are entitled to a 10% rebate on all Chapter related membership fees paid to SCA. To receive the rebate, National Chapters must submit a copy of the last annual accounts. Please send your annual accounts with bank account details to SCA Accounts Manager Denise Alborough in Word of PDF format at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once submitted and approved your rebate will be paid to the SCA Chapter bank account. Only rebates for the previous year may be claimed.

SCA CODE OF CONDUCT
The SCA's Code of Conduct provides a clear policy for identifying and reporting harassment and other conduct violations at SCA events. SCA Chapters are strongly encouraged to utilize this framework at their own events to provide a safe space for attendees. The most up-to-date version of the code can be found in the link below. NATIONAL COMMITTEE CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of Conduct applies to all SCA national chapter committees. All members of the national chapter are expected to act in the best interests of the specialty coffee community and its members. As an ambassador for the SCA, any inappropriate conduct will be treated with the utmost seriousness and could lead to dismissal from the role in the chapter. Complaints against a member of a national chapter will be addressed and should be reported to the SCA’s Chapter Support Team: firstname.lastname@example.org.
NATIONAL CHAPTER PARTICIPANTS CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of Conduct applies to all SCA national chapter event participants. All participants of the national chapter event are expected to act in the best interests of the specialty coffee community. Inappropriate conduct at a national chapter event will be treated with the utmost seriousness and could lead to discharged from the current event or hinder future participation at SCA/WCE or chapter events. Complaints against a participant of a national chapter event will be addressed and should be reported to the SCA’s Chapter Support Team: email@example.com.
