World of Coffee (WOC) is the meeting point and showcase for the latest coffee trends. As the official Water Filtration Sponsor of the World Barista Championships (WBC), BWT water+more will be presenting its latest development in Hall 1, Stand E301-E309. BWT best barista ROC Coffee prepares all local raw water for the perfect enjoyment of coffee. Trade visitors will also be able to meet the 2023 World Barista Champion, Boram Um.
WOC brings together coffee specialists from around the world, including baristas, roasters and machine manufacturers, as well as restaurateurs, farmers and retailers. This year, the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is inviting its guests to Asia for the first time. The international event for high-quality coffee is taking place in Busan in South Korea from May 1-4, 2024. BWT water+more is the official Water Filtration Sponsor for the SCA’s World Barista Championships. “We have been passionately committed for years. Boram Um, the 2023 World Barista Champion, will be on the filtration expert’s stand. As BWT water+more Water Ambassador, he shares his knowledge worldwide and emphasizes the importance of optimized water quality when preparing coffee professionally. At the 2023 World Barista Championship he had already used optimal water provided by BWT water+more to achieve the best coffee results.
Barista Base Camp
In preparation for the championships, participants will have the opportunity to train under competitive conditions from April 26 –29, 2024. BWT water+more, Barista Attitude, and Victoria Arduino supply all the components needed to prepare for the event. Our common objective is to support the participants in the days before the competition and ensure that they give the best expression of themselves and their coffee serving on stage.
The venue for the Barista Base Camp is Momos’ Yeongdo roastery & coffee bar, which is a popular café in Busan, known for its cozy atmosphere and high-quality coffee.
