Announcing #ExpoWeekend

Expo Lectures Feature Image.jpg

While we can’t join together in Portland as planned, we've been working hard in the background to bring some of Expo's features to all of you online throughout something we're calling #ExpoSeason. From now until June, #ExpoSeason encompasses over a month of programming and content, including free and open-to-all selections from the Expo track of SCA Lectures, limited-attendance SCA Workshops with hands-on instruction for a small fee, and other digital expressions of the best parts of the Expo experience.

#ExpoSeason is going to kick off with four-day online event happening Thursday, April 30 – Sunday, May 3. We’re calling this event #ExpoWeekend, since it will come the weekend after the originally scheduled Portland dates, and feature key components of any Expo weekend: learning and parties! The first three days of the weekend, Thursday to Saturday, will offer 15 different lectures featuring speakers from the Portland lectures track and a free introduction to SCA Workshops. On Sunday, the Barista Guild will present a day of fun and community, including international coffee DJs for you to get your digital dance on, and community-led rooms with other activities for socializing and relaxing.

#ExpoWeekend:

All lectures are offered between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Pacific Time (US) / 11:00 am - 7:00 pm Eastern Time (US). Expo Weekend is supported by Pacific Barista Series, Chemex, and Roastar. For a full schedule and to register, visit exposeason.coffeeexpo.org.
