Will Slabaugh, Chief Investment Officer
Dobbs Brothers Management

Will Slabaugh is the Chief Investment Officer at Dobbs Brothers Management, a Memphis, TN-based family office. The Dobbs family has been operators and investors in various businesses since 1921, and DBM’s largest interests currently include 50 Wendy’s restaurants, 11 Slim Chickens restaurants, and 3 Anheuser-Busch distributorships. Prior to joining DBM in 2020, Mr. Slabaugh was with Stephens, Inc., a Little Rock, AR-based Investment Bank, for 13 years. In addition to his role as the Associate Director of Equity Research, Mr. Slabaugh was the Senior Restaurant Analyst for 9 years, where he provided research coverage of over 30 publicly-traded restaurant companies to institutional investors. Prior to that time, Mr. Slabaugh worked in the firm’s Corporate Finance division.

Burak founded QVIDTVM, a private investment company, to support the growth of mission-driven entrepreneurs and unique businesses around the world as a long-term partner. He's been in the finance sector for more than two decades, most recently at Morgan Stanley where he spent 12 years in the investment management division. He had the pleasure to take part in the growth of the specialty coffee industry with investments ranging from founder-led early-stage roasters to larger publicly traded leaders in the space. He received an MBA from Columbia Business School, an M.S. in Finance from Boston College, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University.
