Announcing the all New SCA Certified Home Brewer: Aarke Coffee Maker

The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is delighted to announce that the Aarke Coffee Maker has been awarded the SCA Certified Home Brewer mark. In a crowded and competitive market, the SCA Certified Home Brewer mark helps consumers find and choose the best coffee makers, backed by the science and experience of the Specialty Coffee Association.

SCA Certified Home Brewers have been thoroughly tested in the laboratory and must meet the SCA’s quality standards for brewing specialty coffee at home, including the SCA Golden Cup Standard.

Since its founding in 2013, Aarke has worked with the belief that the most essential everyday products in the home can also be design objects. Aarke Coffee Maker Features:

• The Aarke Coffee Maker brews a full jug in just under 6 minutes.

• A sensor measures the water level in the tank to maintain a perfect brewing temperature and a light shows water level in water tank for easier measuring.

• The round shower head allows for even water distribution and the aroma pipe in the carafe ensures more evenly stirred coffee.

• The Coffee Maker is equipped with an optional blooming function that wets the freshly ground coffee at the start of the brewing cycle to bring out the full flavor.

• An energy saving hot plate ensures better tasting coffee. A sensor in the water tank controls the hot plate, adjustes the power to the coffee volume and gradually taper down over 40 minutes. The result is a rich coffee flavor without burnt notes. To save energy, the hot plate shuts off when the glass carafe is removed.

• An automatic drip-stop and overflow protection means less cleaning is needed.

Additionally, for a smooth user experience, the Aarke Coffee Maker features:

• A pre-set descaling program to keep the everything fresh.

• Dishwasher safe parts. All loose parts, including the glass carafe are 100% dishwasher safe.
