About the 2023 Specialty Coffee Education Survey:

As a part of our commitment to develop effective listening mechanisms and amplify our community’s voices, the SCA Research and Knowledge Development group has designed a variety of surveys aimed at gathering specific information from our communities. The first was our Content Generation Survey, and the second was the Specialty Coffee Business Sentiment survey.  Now, we look to coffee educators to understand the demand for coffee education programs.

The aim of the Specialty Coffee Education Survey is to understand the demand for coffee education programs (both those offered by SCA and by other providers); specifically, the demand from the point of view of coffee educators. We plan on using this information to help guide the SCA’s efforts to support future education curriculum in the specialty coffee community, and help develop tools, education, and events that benefit the needs of specialty coffee education programs worldwide.  

Our hope is to get as many participants as possible, from industry educators across the coffee supply chain, and from around the world. We seek responses from anyone who teaches, developes, partakes in or informs education programs within the specialty coffee community- this includes ASTs, Trainers, Educators etc.

The survey is open until April 19, 2023.
