Utake Coffee Limited

Founder of Utake Coffee Limited, one of the first and only certified SCA Premier Teaching Campuses in Africa, she is a Q instructor and Approved SCA Trainer (AST). Utake Coffee Limited also trades in green and roasted coffee globally. Mbula currently serves as a Board director of the SCA.


As a Coffee Corps Volunteer, she is focused on the sustainability of the specialty coffee sector through empowerment, coffee education, gender equity advocacy and fair recognition of efforts for Africa as an important coffee producing region. the latter through identifying and promoting the best coffees from Africa, thus raising the profile and earnings of producers.


She spearheaded the formation of the International Women in Coffee Alliance (IWCA) chapters in Africa, where she serves as a Chapter Mentor.
