Announcing the Coffee Value Summit in Busan, Korea

Coffee Value Summit is a global forum hosted by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) that aims to shed light on the ‘value’ of coffee from a variety of perspectives: sensory, industrial, and consumer. It focuses on dialogues and strategic discussions with a wider range of industry leaders. It also includes SCA’s two day Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) for Cuppers course.

This is the second edition of the program, following the first at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in December 2024. It brings together experts, educators, roasters, buyers and sensory experts from around the world to discuss how the value of coffee is perceived, evaluated and delivered from the perspectives of producers, businesses and consumers.

The CVA for Cuppers Course is a professional update for coffee cuppers, during which they will learn and become familiarized with the SCA’s new Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) as a tool to evaluate coffee’s value. The course is full of hands-on activities to demonstrate the elements of CVA, including several cuppings, lectures, and periods of discussion.

The Coffee Value Summit combines conversation and education to offer a chance to engage with experts and fellow leaders on the topic of coffee value. Those who are interested in attending can find out more and register below.
