Today, it is my pleasure to present the slate of candidates for the 2024-2027 SCA Board of Directors elections. The Nominating Committee, chaired by SCA Board President Pamela Chng, has put forward the following professionals after an extensive interview process with the dozens of SCA members who responded to our call for nominations made in June 2024.In addition, each year, the Board of Directors elects a 2nd Vice President, who serves an additional term of three years to ensure presidential succession. Nadine Rasch, CEO of Primavera Coffee, has been selected by the board to serve in the role of 2nd Vice President.

Following the success of the 2023 Educator Summits, the Specialty Coffee Association is excited to announce the Educator Summit 2024 Series, taking place in five locations across the globe in October and December of 2024.

The Specialty Coffee Association is now accepting nominations for the 2025-2027 SCA Board of Directors. The SCA will announce the slate of candidates selected through the interview process by Friday, August 30.

Cup of Excellence (CoE) and the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE) are thrilled to announce a transformative partnership with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at the World of Coffee Copenhagen trade show. The online platform Tastify and the next generation of the Catador cupping app, CatadorCVA, have adopted the CVA for digital use.

World of Coffee Jakarta marks the first World of Coffee trade show in Indonesia and focuses on a deep-rooted connection to one of the largest coffee-producing and exporting countries in the world. Indonesia, renowned for its esteemed coffee-growing regions such as Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi, offers a rich tapestry of flavors and traditions that are deeply ingrained in its coffee heritage.
