Registration for the next edition of Sensory Summit is live, with Sensory Kits available to ship to US, Mexico, and Canada

Register now at sensorysummit.org.

We are excited to announce that registration for the next edition of Sensory Summit is now open. This virtual event, presented in partnership with the Coffee Roasters Guild, will provide two intensive days of training and education for sensory professionals, featuring talks by researchers and academics, paired with hands-on sensory experiences. Previously tied to the Robert Mondavi Sensory Theater at the University of California Davis, this next, virtual edition of the Sensory Summit expands the event's reach beyond the US with Sensory Kits available for shipping to  residents of Mexico and Canada.

Attendees at this edition of Sensory Summit will have access to eight online sessions, each paired with guided experiences using the Sensory Experience box shipped directly to them. Coffee sensory professionals learn by tasting and smelling: every Sensory Summit registrant will receive a complete Sensory Kit—a box packed with coffee samples, coffee preparation tools, sensory references, and other aromatic and tasting experiences. These experiences will demonstrate the concepts being explored in the lecture, allowing attendees to expand their skills and their knowledge wherever they engage with the lectures, and providing opportunities for deeper engagement with the speakers and topics.

Sensory Summit is an in-depth event designed for sensory professionals with three years or more of relevant professional or academic experience, and we recommend that attendees have a strong working familiarity with standard cupping procedure and terms in order to make the most of the lectures. The SCA is committed to providing a set of fully-funded tickets to the event for those experiencing financial hardship. Applications will open soon for anyone who asserts the relevance of the content to their work and their financial need, with tickets awarded by a lottery system. We are currently working with sponsors in the community to ensure this scholarship goal is met and are actively interested in further collaborations. Parties interested in partnering should contact mansic@sca.coffee

We will announce the full set of speakers for this edition of Sensory Summit next week, so make sure to follow us on social media, and on the web at  sensorysummit.org
