SCA Greece Chapter: Meet the New Coordinators
The SCA Greece Chapter has selected two new coordinators!
We are pleased to welcome two new coordinators to the committee:
Community Coordinator - Tasos Delichristos
Marketing & Communications Coordinator - Ioannis Papadopoulos
Tasos and Ioannis will join the SCA Greece committee until the current two-year term is complete in 2024.
We would like to give the community the chance to provide comments on the new coordinators listed above. Tasos Delichristos
My love and passion for coffee along with the continuous quest for knowledge which was never nothing less than specialty, has lead me to achievements that i am very proud of.
Ioannis Papadopoulos
Hello, coffee lovers! My name is Ioannis Papadopoulos, I am a 3D Mechanic Designer with a passion for coffee and a proven track record of success in the coffee industry.
I was born on September 19, 1979, and studied music at the Royal Academy of London before starting my career in design in 2002. With the help of Solidworks Dassault, I established my own company, IP-CC, in 2003, based in Thessaloniki. I started with the reconstruction of coffee roasting machines and soon expanded my business.
In 2011, I established a chain of coffee shops called "Speaty_press and coffee" with 8 different shops in Thessaloniki. In 2013, I founded a coffee roasting company named IBI Coffees, which specializes in unique blends and flavours.
In 2012, I started designing a revolutionary coffee roasting machine made of stainless steel capable of air roasting. This machine uses unique technology and produces coffee with an exceptional taste. Over the last two years, I have been selling this machine worldwide, which has become highly popular among coffee enthusiasts.
With my extensive experience in the coffee industry and my passion for the craft, I believe I can make a valuable contribution to the SCA Greece community. As Marketing and Communication Coordinator, I will work hard to promote the community's mission, attract new members, and enhance the experience of existing members.
Outside of work, I am a devoted family man. I have been married for 19 years, and I am the proud father of four sons. I believe that my experience in balancing work and family life has prepared me well for the challenges of this position.
