The SCA Sweden Chapter has selected a new committee!
SCA members in Sweden cast their ballots in the 2022 elections to select their new leadership. Today we are pleased to welcome and celebrate the SCA Sweden Chapter’s new committee.

Meet the Committee
Filip Åkerblom
National Coordinator
I have been working with both SCAE and SCA since 2006. Working with the Education Committee, developing the coffee roasting championship, developing the coffee roasters Guild. Today Chair for Swedish chapter.
Benjamin Edman
Community Coordinator
I started my roastery December 2020 and joined SCA as soon as I could. I am Network oriented and see a great value in the specialty coffee community.
Pierre Tymms
Events Coordinator
Barista at heart. Founder of the Stockholm Coffee Festival. Big believer in the power of community.
I believe building a strong community is the heart of growth.
Håkan Sävlind
Education Coordinator
Håkan Sävlind is currently working full as Head Barista at Café Pascal in Stockholm, and on the side is conducting barista courses and workshops. Håkan has a burning passion to spread knowledge and create eye opening first hand experiences to Specialty coffee to the Swedish population, engaging more people into the community and make it grow organically with workshops, courses and online content.

Att arbeta med SCA skulle vara en stor ära för mig och en chans att lära mig mer om kaffe. Jag ser det som en chans att förstå och lära mer om specialkaffe scenen. Jag är övertygad om att branschen mår bra av att samla likasinnade som vill lära sig mer och spcialkaffe och dess kultur. Och kanske framför allt sprida ordet vidare eftersom kaffe är så mycket mer än det kaffe som de flesta köper i dagligvaruhandeln.
Kaffe har varit en av mina stora passioner under 14-15 år nu. Den största delen har jag varit en glad amatör som mest hållit sig i bakgrunden men jag tog steget till professionell när jag sommaren 2019 öppnade kaffebaren Specialty Coffee Hos Fredrik i Hällevik utanför Sövesborg innan jag under hösten flyttade in den till Kristianstad. Även om jag under våren 2022 sålde kaffebaren så fortsätter jag att brinna för och arbetet med kaffe genom mitt nystartade projekt kaffesverige.se.
Innan jag började arbeta med kaffe så har jag arbetet som chef i över 20 år inom flera olika branscher. Som person gillar jag att utmana mig själv och min personliga utveckling är en av mina stora drivkrafter.
