On March 20, we hosted a webinar with food safety expert and coffee consultant Mike Ebert and the chairs of all three guilds. The aim of this webinar was to provide an overview of the current (and ever-evolving) situation, including what we know and what we don’t know, and the direct effects on various roles within the supply chain. Mike will be joined by members of the Barista Guild, Roasters Guild, and Coffee Technicians Guild leadership, who will lead a Q&A with questions collected from their communities.

On December 19 at 9am PST/5pm GMT the Specialty Coffee Association hosted a webinar exploring the latest SCA Research the updated Economics of the Coffee Supply Chain: An Illustrative Outlook.

On Friday, November 22, 2019, the Specialty Coffee Association hosted an SCA Sustainability webinar on the coffee price crisis and the role of baristas, roasters, and technicians from the perspective of the SCA's three guilds: the Barista Guild, the Coffee Roasters Guild, and the Coffee Technicians Guild.

SCA Education organized two webinars to introduce the new Coffee Sustainability Program. The first-ever Professional course will launch at the end of October, co-taught online by Nora, Kate, and Erika.
