On December 11, 2023, at an inaugural signing at the Panama Convention Center in Panama City, Panama, Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Chief Executive Officer, Yannis Apostolopoulos joined a welcoming crowd alongside The Specialty Coffee Association of Panama (SCAP) President, James Hunter Tedman, and The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama President, Adolfo Fabrega, to solidify the expansion of the World of Coffee Tradeshow to Panama in 2026.

Join the team putting on the World Coffee Championships in Chicago (April 2024) and Busan (May 2024) as a lead volunteer. The SCA is looking for people who would like to contribute more time and skills by holding lead roles for the event. These positions require a greater time commitment but are perfect for specialty coffee professionals who are open for leadership roles and would like to be more involved with the behind-the-scenes support of the event.

The Specialty Coffee Association is now accepting applications for the World Coffee Championships Competitions Strategic Committee (CSC). The CSC is a volunteer leadership group with wide-ranging experience of competitions and the industry that collaborates on initiatives to foster & support the competition community and keep the World Coffee Championships moving forward.

The SCA is delighted to announce a momentous collaboration with the International Coffee Organization with a mutual commitment to advancing global coffee industry cooperation and reaching new heights in specialty coffee sustainability, education, and outreach.
